My motivation to run for the Klimaliste Berlin:

When I stood at the hole of the Jänschwalde open-cast mine in Lusatia or the freshly cleared aisle at Dannenröder Forst, I only really understood how disturbed and destructive our relationship to the natural environment is. I am running for office because I think that many climate policy issues are best tackled here in the district. For a long time, there was only one address for me in Berlin: my best friend's flat in Schlesi. In the meantime I've also been to Müggelsee or Spandau, but honestly ... nothing beats Kreuzberg nights.

This is want I want for Berlin:

I work with children and young people in the field of political education and therefore know how important extracurricular education is to deal with such challenging issues as the climate crisis, racism, flight & asylum. And this applies to people of all ages. We have big plans for Berlin, but we can't make the changes without the right educational opportunities. I will work hard for this in the BVV.

In addition, pedestrians and cyclists, from Viktoriapark to Volkspark Friedrichshain, will finally get the spaces they deserve...there's more to it than just pop-up bike lanes. We will also strengthen the participation of the resident initiatives. Whether it's gentrification in Hasenheide or a car-free Wrangelkiez - Berliners have long wanted to shape their neighbourhoods themselves, but haven't been heard enough. We will change that, invite them to future workshops and listen to them first and foremost.

This is what you should know about me:

I fell in love with Berlin at the Schlesi and my heart swells at football matches at the Alte Försterei ... but I can also warm to golf, polo & fox hunting, kidding :=)
